At the end of the day
Sunsets are proof that every day should end beautifully, and if it doesn't end beautifully it means that it's not the end. We decide to venture towards the crest of Passo Gardena in the last hours of the gloomy day still hoping to photograph the last emotion of our journey and say goodbye to the enchanted valleys from above. As we reach the Gran Cir at sunset the clouds thin out, letting in that very light that sets the Dolomites ablaze, making the passion burn once again in our hearts in love. The composition is enhanced by the marked contrast between the lighting of the mountains in the background and the dark green of the cliff where the road curves. God must have wanted to reward us with the opportunity to seize this fleeting moment.
