The sky way
The composition is a chromatic launching ramp that ascends towards the intense blue of the sky streaked with thin veils of clouds. The green mountain meadow in bloom is abruptly interrupted, forming a crater that vertically cracks the earth, showing its shaded streaks of brown with some residual elements of vegetation and rocks. On this special August morning we managed to capture a clear sky whose contrast stands out above the rocky asperities of the Sasso Lungo around Passo Sella (Dolomites, South Tyrol). The ascending path of the gaze, rich in nuances and compositional elements, crossed centrally by light, defines a subject of rare beauty that symbolizes resilience and aspiration towards the summit.
